DeliciousTampa (global-adventures.us): Odyssey Marine Exploration (OME), a treasure-hunting firm, filed Admiralty Arrest Complaints in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida on two separate shipwreck sites recently discovered by the Company.
The Florida based company says that the two sites lie within the general area of the English Channel but are outside the territorial waters or contiguous zone of any sovereign nation. Both sites contain artifacts believed to date back to the Colonial period.
Footage from the newly discovered shipwrecks will be shown in an 11-part series on the Discovery Channel in 2009, according to Odyssey Marine Exploration.
